Jonathan Coron is an appointee to the area Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Board (BPAP) and among other things, has worked for years to push a bicycle helmet safety campaign to address the needs of our local area schools, colleges and universities.

After including the City of Gainesville Bicycle/Pedestrian Program in several local bicycle & bicycle helmet safety events for schools and in the community, Mr. Coron approached concerning assistance with this project.

Published author: Factors Associated with undergraduate use of bike helmets. Journal of American College Health, 1993. Collected data on 500 UF students. Three questions were asked in a written survey. Do you wear a bike helmet and if so, why? If you don't wear a bike helmet, why not? If you don't wear a helmet, what would convince you to start using a bike helmet?
